Take the guesswork out of long-range shooting with Vortex’s Impact 4000 Ballistics Laser Rangefinder. It mounts to the host-weapon via picatinny interface, and can be attached directly to the scope rings with “diving board” mounts. This configuration provides the user with quick, accurate ballistics corrections without ever having to come off the rifle, and displays its ballistic calculations on a convenient rear-facing screen. With a maximum reflective range of 4000 yards, the Impact 4000 can provide easy to use wind and drop solutions from the shooting position. One of the Impact 4000’s more notable features is its integrated GeoBallistics Solver complete with a full, up-to-date bullet library as well as ten pre-loaded and customizable profiles. The GeoBallistics function can also be used to connect to the Vortex Relay via the GeoBallistics App. Other features of the Impact 4000 include a full compliment of on-board environmental sensors. These include an integrated compass, as well as sensors for humidity, barometric pressure, and a temperature gauge. The Impact 4000 also comes standard with the patented wind capture mode, which allows the user to manually input wind speed and direction for keeping track of wind direction regardless of the direction the user is facing. In addition, the Impact 4000 is operated by top-mounted buttons and a Bluetooth remote that can be attached to the host-weapon.
